Stuart Simon, M.D. USAP Bio

Stuart Simon, MD is a member of the Clinical Governance Board and is the Co-Divisional Manager of Physicians Anesthesia Practice. He serves as a member of the Pinnacle Human Resources Committee. Dr. Simon has been an Attending Anesthesiologist at Baylor University Medical Center for over 20 years and is a Clinical Assistant Professor at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical School. He is currently Chairman of the Department of Anesthesiology at North Central Surgical Center and has been the Medical Director of that institution since its inception. He is the Physician Champion for United Surgical Partners International for the development and implementation of the electronic health record. Dr. Simon received his medical degree from The University of Mississippi School of Medicine and completed his internship in Internal Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. He did his residency in Anesthesiology at Parkland Memorial Hospital where he served as Chief Resident. He completed a fellowship in Cardiothoracic Anesthesia at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. Dr. Simon is a Diplomate of the American Board of Anesthesiology.
