Senior Vice President of Strategy
Marian Lowe is the Senior Vice President of Strategy of US Anesthesia Partners. Prior to joining USAP, she served as Chief Strategy Officer of United Surgical Partners International (USPI), now a division of Tenet Healthcare.
As a member of the leadership team with USPI, the largest operator of ambulatory surgical providers, she led development of a three-year plan to fuel double-digit annual EBITDA growth through acquisitions and de novo development, new service offerings, and maximization of operating efficiency. She led successful implementation of three Medicare bundled payment initiatives, achieving maximum gainshare and quality scores as well as a successful Accountable Care Organization (ACO). She also led analysis and action-planning to enable clinical leaders to improve patient experience scores for hospital and ambulatory surgical providers.
Prior to her tenure at USPI, Marian spent a decade as a partner in a Washington, DC healthcare consulting firm where she represented health care providers, hospital systems and trade associations on federal policy issues. She has also worked in a variety of leadership roles in the federal government and health care trade associations.
Marian holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Pre-Veterinary Medicine from the University of Findlay and a Master of Business Administration from The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business.
