William Leighton, M.D
William R. Leighton, Jr., M.D., M.B.A. is a board-certified anesthesiologist and native Houstonian. After graduating from Vanderbilt University, he returned home to attend the University of Texas Medical School at Houston. Upon completing his residency at Harvard Medical School/Brigham and Women’s Hospital he returned to Houston for the long-term. He earned a Masters of Business Administration from Rice University in 2006.
Dr. Leighton has served in numerous administrative roles within Greater Houston Anesthesiology and subsequently US Anesthesia Partners. Currently he is the Chairman of the Retirement Committee for USAP, holds a seat on the Clinical Governance Board (USAP TX-South), Co-Chairman of the Human Resources Committee (USAP TX-South), and a Director and CFO of the MHA Pillar of USAP TX-South.
