Paul Doepfner, M.D.
My personal goal is to provide good quality Anesthesia care to the community and to treat my patients with personal respect, courtesy, compassion, and sensitivity to help them get through the difficult time of their hospital stay. I derive satisfaction and pride from the fact that I am part of a wonderful care team at Swedish where all members work towards that goal.
The last few years I've been mainly involved in providing anesthesia for childbirth and my goal is to help patients to get through the birth experience with the least amount of distress. Apart from that I also provide general anesthesia and sedation for surgical patients.
I came to the US in 1992 and I have lived in the Pacific Northwest since then. I have a profound interest in the field of humanities and anthropology. This interest in different cultures throughout the history of mankind from different parts of the world has led me to study a number of languages and their respective cultures. I enjoy traveling.
