US Anesthesia Partners names J. Lankford Wade Chief Financial Officer
Growing executive team is partnering with leading anesthesiology groups in the U.S. to change the way perioperative services are delivered.
Fort Lauderdale, Fla. March 25, 2016 - US Anesthesia Partners, Inc. (USAP the nation's leading provider of anesthesiology services, today announced that J. Lankford Wade has joined the USAP leadership team as Chief Financial Officer, effective March 28, 2016.
Mr. Wade comes to USAP from Aetna, Inc., where he spent nearly five years in progressively increasing roles, most recently serving as Vice President, Chief Financial Officer - Institutional Businesses. In this role, Mr. Wade was an instrumental member of the executive team which supported all of Aetna's local market commercial and Medicare products as well as its' National Accounts and Specialty businesses, representing in excess of $50 billion in annual revenue.

Mr. Wade has long been passionate about healthcare. Coming from a family of medical professionals, Mr. Wade studied premed along with earning his A.B. degree in Economics, which he earned summa cum laude from Princeton University.

Prior to joining Aetna, Lankford worked with HealthSpring, Inc., where he most recently served as Senior Vice President, Corporate Development and Treasurer of the NYSE listed Medicare HMO, serving more than one million members prior to its' sale to CIGNA. Prior to that, he served as Senior Associate in the healthcare group at General Atlantic, a late-stage private equity firm. Lankford started his career with Morgan Stanley where he participated in 11 completed financing transactions raising more than $6.6 billion in capital.
