Herbert Chado, M.D. USAP Bio

I consider anesthesiology to be my calling in life and have done over 25,000 anesthetics in my career. I approach patient care today with the same degree of thoroughness and attention to detail as I used during my first year of clinical practice in 1984. It is my goal to treat everybody as I would like to be treated if I were having surgery or a procedure. It has been a wonderful privilege to practice anesthesiology.

My goals for patients are pre op optimization of health status, superior pain control and prevention of nausea. A priority of mine is making the entire experience a person has when having surgery as smooth as possible.

On a personal note, I have lived in Colorado since 1986 with my wife, Diane, of 30 years. We raised our 3 children here and enjoy a lot of the outdoor activities our beautiful state has to offer.
