John P. Anter, MD USAP Bio

I am an anesthesiologist that specializes in the delivery of anesthetic care for women during obstetrical and gynecological procedures.  The majority of my practice is based on caring for laboring women during their childbirth experience, whether it be for alleviating the pains of labor with an epidural or providing anesthesia for caesarean section deliveries.

Areas of Clinical Interest

I am interested in being on the cutting edge of obstetrical anesthetic care with regards to epidural infusions, specifically patient controlled epidural administration.  I also care greatly about the collection and integration of quality measures into the practice of anesthesia in order to ultimately take care of patients better… After all, the desire to continuously improve the quality of care you deliver is what it means to be a professional.
