Rockford Wright, MD USAP Bio

After growing up in Southern California, I have sought out education and learning experiences across the country, including 5 US time zones, and even internationally.  Going on this journey with me are my wife and 2 young boys.  We have finally decided to settle down and make Las Vegas home while I dive into my professional pursuits in serving this community through my practice as an anesthesiologist.  Here I am able to participate in the care of a diverse patient population and truly believe I have been able to do good for my patients.  From taking care of the elderly to the infant, anesthesiology allows me to have a very close relationship with a patient, even if only for a brief time, which I find rewarding. Safety and comfort are my greatest priorities and providing them is my goal for each and every person I take care of.

Areas of Clinical Interest
I am particularly interested in anesthesia for cardiothoracic (heart and lung) surgery, vascular (blood vessels) surgery, and pediatric surgery.
