Roland Miyada, MD USAP Bio

I became an anesthesiologist because I enjoy the continuous learning and challenge of the profession. I strive to bring that passion to the forefront for my patients care. Having a patient and their family entrust me with their care is truly an honor and great responsibility. I subscribe to the motto of the American Society of Anesthesiologists-"Vigilance." I practice general anesthesia with a particular interest in pediatric and cardiac anesthesia for which I undertook additional training for at Children's Hospital, Los Angeles and Good Samaritan Hospital, Los Angeles.

I am a California native but have enjoyed living and practicing in Las Vegas since 2001. My wife and I have a particular interest in travel and I believe that the perspective gained from learning about and experiencing different cultures helps me understand and allows me to be more empathetic to the human condition.
