Jonathan Maron, M.D.
I am a board certified anesthesiologist fellowship trained in pain management, with a specific interest in regional anesthesia and selective nerve blocks. I enjoy practicing anesthesia for outpatient procedures and helping patients get through surgery without nausea or post-operative pain. It is important to acknowledge that surgery although stressful, can be managed safely and thoughtfully with the appropriate anesthesia care.
When I’m not working I love sailing Puget sound, mountain biking in the cascades, and spending time with my family and animals.
Areas of clinical interest
I am interested in using ultrasound techniques to aid in visualization of nerve anatomy to improve accuracy of local anesthetic placement for regional anesthesia. This can help patients to return home after surgery without minimal pain and avoid the need for narcotic pain medicines.
