About Me
My mother was a labor and delivery nurse for 38 years prior to retiring, and I thought I wanted to go into reproductive endocrinology. I did not enjoy my med school Ob/Gyn rotation for a lot of reasons, but mostly because of all the... fluids. Because David was a year younger than me in medical school, I had committed to a year of reproductive endocrinology research so that we could match together. During my research year, I explored my career options. After doing back-to-back anesthesia months once I returned to clinical rotations, I realized that I enjoyed the problem-solving and immediate feedback the practice of anesthesia provided.
