Nicholas Bishop, M.D. USAP Bio

About Me
I was born and raised in Bellingham, WA. After university, I attended Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia prior to returning for anesthesiology residency at the University of Washington. I spent my last year of training in Portland, OR completing a pediatric anesthesia fellowship at Oregon Health and Science University and am board certified in both pediatric and general anesthesiology. I am happy to be back in Seattle practicing at USAP-WA.

Personal Interests
My personal interests are centered around music dabbling in both guitar and vocals but mostly just being an enthusiastic fan! I also love traveling, sailing around Puget Sound, and spending time in the Pacific Northwest outdoors.

Areas of Clinical Interests
Clinically, I enjoy caring for patients of all ages throughout the perioperative period. My goal is to partner with the patient to help form an anesthetic plan that will keep the patient as safe and comfortable as possible. I particularly enjoy the interactions I have with patients and patients’ families during this process.
