About Me
I am a Physician Anesthesiologist with fellowship training in Critical Care Medicine. Anesthesiology drew me, as I enjoy the direct relationship formed with each individual patient under my care. Meeting a patient and family, describing my role and gaining their trust, and delivering an anesthetic that safely transports them through surgery and recovery is very fulfilling. I feel grateful to be in this career. Moreover, medicine is a team based field and working closely with skilled nurses, technicians, and surgical/medical colleagues makes me excited to come to work everyday.

Personal Interests
I love traveling the world and recreating in the outdoors - running, hiking, biking, skiing and camping - with friends and family. I also seek out quiet time to read contemporary and literary fiction.

Areas of Clinical Interests
I love staying up to date on developments in Anesthesiology and Critical Care including quality and safety initiatives. I am most fascinated by Critical Care, Obstetric Anesthesiology, Perioperative Medicine, and Neuroanesthesiology.
