About Me
I grew up in London, England, and immigrated to the USA during high school which I attended in Chicago. The “Second City” was home for almost 30 years and still is in my heart. During a graduate school course in bioethics, I became drawn to the idea of becoming a physician, and in particular, for anesthesiology and cancer pain treatment. After my anesthesiology residency at Harvard Medical School, I completed a pain management fellowship at Johns Hopkins University.

Following training, I joined the academic faculty at the University of Chicago, where for over five years, I helped transform the pain clinic services available to patients before leaving to start my own pain practice in the suburbs of Chicago. I was then invited to merge my practice and become a partner in one of the largest pain management groups in the country, based in the Milwaukee area of Wisconsin. After helping facilitate the growth, expansion and acquisition of the group, including multiple ASCs, by a private equity company, it was time for the next chapter in my clinical career. Since 2013, I have been practicing anesthesiology and pain management in the Seattle area at various hospitals and clinics.

Outside of work, I appreciate music, film, the company of friends, and spending as much time as I can with my family. I also take great joy in hiking in this area surrounded by the lush, majestic beauty of the forests along with the clean fragrant air.
