U.S. Anesthesia Partners' Colorado practice, located in Greenwood Village, got a jump on the holidays this year, working to bring cheer to children with critical illnesses through a Wish Tree project benefiting Make-A-Wish Colorado.
On September 26 during USAP Cares Week, USAP Colorado team members worked toward decorating 400 holiday trees for Make-A-Wish Colorado's Wish Store at Children's Hospital. There, children up to age 19 can select a tree to take home and enjoy with their families over the holidays.
Team members purchased 3- or 4-foot trees and decorated them around creative themes, from sports and favorite characters to Colorado favorites, animals and more. USAP Colorado will collect the finished trees and deliver them to Make-A-Wish Colorado ahead of the holiday season, giving the organization time to stock the Wish Store before Christmas.
USAP Colorado is also inviting members of the community to join the ongoing effort. Anyone interested can purchase a tree and ship it to 8000 E. Maplewood Ave, Suite 200, Greenwood Village, CO 80111. A pre-selected tree option is also available through this Amazon link.
USAP Cares Week is U.S. Anesthesia Partners' annual, companywide week of service, held this year September 19-26. It centers on three areas of impact, health and well-being, education and civic enrichment, and gives USAP team members and their families the chance to volunteer with nonprofit organizations in the communities where they live and work. Past efforts have benefited Make-A-Wish, March of Dimes, Susan G. Komen for the Cure, and local food banks, shelters and schools.
U.S. Anesthesia Partners is a physician-owned, clinician-led anesthesia practice founded in 2012 and headquartered in Dallas. Its more than 4,500 clinicians, anesthesiologists, certified registered nurse anesthetists and certified anesthesiologist assistants handle upwards of 2 million cases a year across subspecialties including pediatric, cardiac and obstetric anesthesia.
USAP Colorado's board-certified and board-eligible clinicians serve hospitals and surgery centers across the Denver metro area and Colorado Springs.
